In March, four ҹɫ��Ƶ apprentices headed south to Kissimmee, Florida, to compete in the ABC National Craft Championships. The team, who brought home one gold and two silver medals, included Dalton Mobley, Pipe Welder; Gavin Bailey, Structural Welder; Chris Langford, Lineworker Apprentice; and Adam Folsom, Pipefitter Apprentice. Additional ҹɫ��Ƶ team members joined the competitors to assist with the event.

On September 28, 2022, many travelers heading south on Interstate 95 in Maine got a glimpse into ҹɫ��Ƶ’s past, as a truck carried a near-pristine 1934 Ford dump truck down the highway. The dump truck, with the classic Cianchette Bros. Inc. displayed on both doors, turned a lot of heads that day, but none more important than that of ҹɫ��Ƶ co-founder Kenneth Cianchette, who was celebrating his 98th birthday.

Every morning, travelers on Interstate 95 in central Maryland witness the sunrise behind the silhouette of the Baltimore skyline. One iconic feature of this landscape is the massive exhaust stack featuring a bold-lettered “Baltimore” written down the side. It’s a landmark for residents and commuters alike, and over the past year, the city’s skyline has been looking a little different. The luffing jib of a ҹɫ��Ƶ Manitowoc 16K now casts its silhouette next to the “Baltimore Smoke Stack” in the morning light over the city. That machine and the ҹɫ��Ƶ team on site are gearing up to perform the last of three major overhauls as part of a larger upgrade project at the WIN Waste Wheelabrator Baltimore facility.

When ҹɫ��Ƶ began work on Maine Central Institute’s Founders Hall renovation, the team understood the balance necessary to create a modern education space for future generations while maintaining the integrity of the historic building. On March 22, Maine Preservation awarded the project with the prestigious 2023 Honor Award.
